Hello and welcome! We're thrilled you've stopped by. We are barely more than two people behind this web, and we love manga and learning!. So we were going to create this tool just for our own use. But then we realized that we could share it with more people!

Our Vision

Our vision for this site is to provide a nice tool that helps you immerse yourself in a new language while enjoying the process of learning. Haven't you ever wished for someone to sit next to you and explain words or language structures as you read? Tools like ChatGPT offer that possibility, but the inconvenience of having to switch back and forth can be a drag. That's why we've designed our platform to make it incredibly simple for you to consult—not necessarily to translate, but to help you associate new words and grammar structures seamlessly.

Here are a couple of things that we do different

• Community-Driven: We are only accessible to contributors. This ensures that Kotohi remains a community-driven platform, sustained by the people who use it. No ads, no shady business practices like selling your data. That also means that users just pay for what they use
• We're Here to Help: We've got a Discord channel and plenty of exciting features in the pipeline. Don't hesitate to drop by and say hi! Your suggestions and feedback are always welcome.
